On May 11, Wu Hui, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, led a research team to Huaihua to conduct a special survey on the federation's work, the current status of overseas Chinese affairs, and the development of overseas Chinese-funded enterprises. The aim was to provide strategic guidance and pool the wisdom of overseas Chinese for Huaihua's high-level opening-up and the high-quality development of the federation's work.
The research team successively visited the Huaihua International Land Port Planning Exhibition Hall, Land Port No. 1, Hunan BoshiKang Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd., and Hunan Opulong Technology Co., Ltd. They conducted on-site inspections of the construction of the international land port hub, the transformation of the corridor economy, cross-border trade innovation, as well as the cultivation of overseas Chinese-funded enterprises, technological innovation, and the development of the full industrial chain.

At Opulent, the research team gained a detailed understanding of the company's achievements in Party building, the full industrial chain of rice, the integration of breeding, propagation, and promotion of hybrid rice, and the integration of seed, grain, and rice. They encouraged the company to stay focused on its core business, deepen its innovation efforts, leverage overseas Chinese resources to expand into international markets, and better serve rural revitalization and food security.

Wu Hui noted that the Huaihua Federation has performed solid and effective work, achieving notable results in grassroots organizing and serving central priorities. Overseas Chinese enterprises have rooted themselves locally with strong vitality, contributing significantly to TCM, seed technology, and cross-border e-commerce. During the visit, Wu chaired a symposium on overseas Chinese affairs, carefully listening to presentations from the Huaihua Federation, relevant departments, and community representatives. He addressed difficulties and requests on the spot, called for a problem list and detailed action plans, and pledged full support from the provincial federation to advance the efforts.
