The plant height is 114cm, the spike length is 26.8cm, the effective spikes per mu are 178000, the total grains per spike are 204.5, the seed setting rate is about 88%, and the 1000 grain weight is 27.5g. Main indicators of rice quality: head rice rate 62.1%, length width ratio 3.2, chalky grain rate 18%, chalkiness 2.3%, gel consistency 82 mm, amylose content 15.2%, and the comprehensive rice quality reaches the national level 3 standard of "high-quality rice".

★ Main characters of the variety
Early maturing and dwarf strong heterosis varieties of indica two-line hybrid rice.

★ Adaptability
Yield performance: In 2016, participated in the regional green channel test of medium indica late maturing group in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, with an average yield of 698.7 kg per mu, an increase of 6.39% over the control Fengliangyou No. 4; In 2017, the average yield per mu was 715.6kg, 7.24% higher than that of Fengliangyou No.4; The average yield per mu in two years' regional trials was 707.2 kg, 6.82% higher than that of Fengliangyou No. 4.
Resistance: the comprehensive index of inoculation and identification of rice blast was 3.8, and the loss rate of ear blast was the highest in 7 grades; The disease is Grade 5, with strong fertilizer resistance and lodging resistance, and high temperature resistance.


★ Main cultivation measures
① Raising seedlings. Sowing in a timely manner, seed consumption per mu for seedling raising and transplanting 0.8-1.0 kg, transplanting in 6-leaf stage, and spacing between plants and rows 6 × 9 inches, 2-3 rice seedlings are planted in each hole. For direct seeding in the field, 1.5-2 kg seeds shall be used per mu, and the seeds shall be soaked with disinfectant for 12-15 hours before sowing, then picked up and dried before evenly sowing.
② Management of fertilizer and water in transplanting field. ① Heavy application of base fertilizer: 45-50kg of high concentration compound fertilizer or 55-60kg of common compound fertilizer per mu; ② Apply tillering fertilizer well: apply 8-10 kg urea per mu 5-7 days after planting, and apply 8-10 kg potassium chloride per mu 22-25 days after planting. ③ Skillful application of ear and grain fertilizer: 10-15 kg of high concentration compound fertilizer and 12-15 kg of potassium chloride shall be applied per mu according to the field appearance in the early booting stage. Moist and aerobic irrigation throughout the growth period.
③ Fertility and water management of direct seeding fields. ① Heavy application of base fertilizer: 45-50kg of high concentration compound fertilizer or 55-60kg of common compound fertilizer and 4-5kg of urea shall be applied per mu of cultivated land; ② Early application of tillering fertilizer: 6-8 kg urea per mu in combination with rain or irrigation at the 3-leaf stage of seedlings; At jointing stage, 10-12 kg potassium chloride per mu. ③ Skillful application of ear and grain fertilizer: 12-15kg potassium chloride per mu shall be applied in the middle of booting to ensure large ears and large grains. Keep the soil moist from sowing to the second leaf stage, irrigate with shallow water and wet water alternately at the tillering stage to allow seedlings to dry the field, keep shallow water from the middle booting stage to heading grouting, and keep the seeds strong in dry and wet conditions, and cut off water 5-7 days before maturity.
④ Weeding in the direct seeding field. Weeding by direct seeding on dry land can be done with one seal and two kills. After sowing, use 200-400ml of herbicide rice barnyard grass (or sulfuron, 36% butylox emulsifiable concentrates, etc.) per mu, mixed with two barrels of water, to spray the whole field in a closed manner. Make sure to use the herbicide timely and evenly. Later weeding can wait until the rice leaves are 5 pieces, and then spray with "Xiangle" (barnyard grass removal) and "Peanut removal" (broad-leaved weeds including water peanut) or "bentazon" (broad-leaved weeds and sedge) with water.    
⑤ Disease and insect control. Timely forecast diseases and pests, pay attention to the prevention and control of rice planthopper, rice leaf roller, rice blast, sheath blight, etc.


★ Suitable planting area
It is suitable for rice growing in the Yangtze River valley of Jiangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Anhui, Zhejiang and Jiangsu, as well as in the north of Fujian, south of Henan and other areas with low incidence of rice blast.


★ Planting season
In the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, it is suggested to sow rice after March 20 and before June 10.
Please pay attention to sowing and scientific management according to the specific arrangements of local climate, previous crops, seedling raising mode and planting habits, and according to the accurate time guided by the local agricultural technology department.
